I feel you on that, i can't go out on thursdays anymore due to 6am starts. I've already had a warning for coming into work tired / sleeping haha.

Prolly one of the best two week music periods i've had in adelaide in quite some time.
Ame at sugar, followed by futurist at dragonfly and then LNTG at Lotus Lounge
And this weekend, at Mr Kims/steak night!
Also Uni SA is running a Latin American film festival, so been checking that, and discovered the dancing room.
Feels like the city is flourishing a little after so long of being (what felt like) completely dormant.

HMC at Mr Kims was definitely hot.
Loved the transition from disco to old/original house to newer stuff with Doin Ya Thang and I Get Deeper dropping a bit later. Had to leave a bit after 2, what was he playing later on?
Also anyone know when the set will be up to listen to, I'm assuming it'll be on Soundcloud.

I had to leave around that time too, so missed the last couple hours. Set was definitely recorded from what I hear too...

Welcome to Adelaide! If you love your techno, cuckoo is prob your venue of choice. Keep your eyes peeled for techphonics shows aswell as plastik & Night time drama nights around the traps. Sugar also good for all forms of house/disco. Lots of internationals touring regularly.....dragonfly bar also has intimate electronic nights regularly. Enjoy this small but great city

I'm a little more towards the Prog music scene, but anything electronic is good by me.

I haven't had the opportunity to taste the apparent notorious Adelaide water, funnily enough of all the places to live I picked the one with tank water. Is it really that bad ?

You get used to it.

It's only really noticeable after visiting other places then coming back after a while.
